Big Lakes Real Estate Market Update - March 2023

Well that didn't go according to plan. 

Edmonton saw a dramatic slow down in March, with the neighbourhoods of Trumpeter, Starling, Kinglet Gardens, and Hawks Ridge seeing similar slow down. 

Big Lake Market Update for March 2023Sales are down by 44% in the Big Lake neighbourhoods compared to March of 2022, and homes are taking on average 145% longer to sell than it did a year ago.

The good news is that the Big Lakes neighbourhoods are maintaining listing volume, where most of Edmonton saw a decrease of about 25% the areas of Big Lakes saw an INCREASE of 65.44% in new listings. 

Like much of the region, it's taking longer for Big Lakes homes to sell. In fact we're up by 145% compared to the same month last year. 

April should bring more sales and activity as the late spring thaw takes hold of the real estate market.
